A. Lee


Ms. Lee currently teaches math at Brooklyn Technical High School. She previously taught at New Explorations into Science, Technology, and Math and started her teaching experience as a student-teacher as Townsend Harris High School. She has extensive experience preparing students for the math sections of the SHSAT, PSAT, and SAT.

Ms. Strawn currently works as an elementary school teacher. She has experience teaching English, Math, and Writing to students in grades 3-6 and enjoys working with students to strengthen and develop their skills and understanding in these subjects.

Mr. Cullivan currently works as a middle school English teacher. He has years of experience with a diverse range of programs, such as teaching 6th to 8th grade English Language Arts and delivering 8th grade academic support and intervention.

Ms. Langenberg currently works as an adjunct instructor for CUNY, specializing in advanced English and Writing. She has experience preparing 8th grade students for the verbal section of the SHSAT and 9th-12th grade students for the verbal and essay sections of the PSAT/SAT.

Mr. Rotenberg is currently a high school math teacher, specializing in programs ranging from Algebra I to Calculus. He has experience preparing students for the PSAT, SAT, and Regents Math. He earned his M.S.

in Mathematics from Yeshiva University.

Mr. Lin has 17 years of experience working with students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college to develop their reading comprehension and writing abilities. He works with students to break down concepts, annotate reading passages, learn new vocabulary words, and develop strong writing pieces.

Ms. D'Aquila currently teaches high school-level math. She specializes in SHSAT & SAT/ACT test preparation, as well as Regents Math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry. She earned her teaching & education degrees from Fordham University.

Ms. Park has extensive experience tutoring students for the Hunter College High School Admissions Test, SHSAT, Regents Math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry), Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT. She works closely with students to develop the needed skills and knowledge to ace these examinations and classes in school.

Ms. Ning currently works as an elementary school teacher. She has experience teaching English, Math, and Writing to students in grades 3-6. She incorporates various collaborative and interactive teaching methods in her lessons her to keep students engaged in the course material.

Ms. Demby has years of experience with test preparation, specializing in PSAT, SAT, GRE, and LSAT. She brings effective test-taking strategies into her classroom and strives to provide a supportive learning environment for all her students.

Mr. Gamboa currently teaches Regents-level Chemistry at public high schools in NYC. Through his teaching experience, he has developed effective strategies to help prepare students for the Chemistry Regents. He also has experience teaching Living Environment, Economics, and History and Government.

Ms. Simonian has been an English teacher at Elite Academy since Summer 2003. Since then, she has taught reading and writing to students in grades 3 to 10. She also has years of experience coaching 8th graders to achieve high marks on the Verbal section of the SHSAT.

Ms. Soto currently works as an elementary school teacher. She has experience in early childhood education and elementary education, teaching English, Math, and Writing to students in Pre-K onwards. Ms. Soto previously worked as an after-school assistant teacher at Preschool at 82nd Street Academics and a reading lab tutor at CUNY LaGuardia Community College.
